They’re not like students who come to community college directly from high school. Nor are they like the 65-year-olds that come to campus for personal enrichment courses. Students age 50 and over may have only paper high school transcripts and they want to get trained for a new career, quickly, so they can get back to work. Their needs are different, but your college doesn’t have to re-invent the wheel when it comes to students age 50 and over.
