Thibaut Courtois wants to be the number one goalkeeper at Chelsea and says a decision will be made on his future after the World Cup. The 22-year-old has been a revelation while on loan at Atletico Madrid, but it remains to be seen whether he will start next season at Chelsea or move on elsewhere. Petr Cech could miss the start of the campaign through injury and Blues boss Jose Mourinho now has a tough decision to make over who will be his first-choice keeper next season. Cech still has many good years ahead of him, but Courtois should have even more and he is keen to play first-team football. For now he is focused on the World Cup with Belgium, but will be keen to get his future sorted as soon as their participation in Brazil is over. I think with my age and the performances I have had, I want to play, he has been quoted as saying. To be on the bench is not the nicest thing. But I will decide after the World Cup, I think.
