Things God Never Said #3: I will slowly develop speech in Man over thousands of generations. (Man was made in the image of God, including the capacity to reason and speak. Language as we know it today was created on one day, at the Tower of Babel. Historical linguists, by the way, acknowledge a baffling truth: language is not EVOLVING, but DEVOLVING....as if language in ancient times had started in an explosion of complexity, slowly merging over time into fewer and fewer languages.)
