Things I am thankful for : My failures, they teach me who I am without Christ and drive me to my knees in prayer for others when they fail because I know just how they feel. I am thankful for amazing people who have taught me more about Jesus: Hap and Helen Hooper, Wayne Huckaby, Bill TemPleton, Ronnie Boswell, Vander Warner Jr, Adrian Rogers, Jim Bakker, Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Tom Houston, Howard Carden,Don Marion, Don Black, Paul Scott, John Snyder, Donald Mccauley, Joyce McCauley, Al Henson, Bruce Goldsmith,Leta Haggard Timothy Johnson, Trena Johnson, Nancy and Mark Wildenburg, and a myriad of others who blessed me with great teaching, tireless patience, with their prayers, lives and yes even when they failed because they all keep pressing on no matter what. I am grateful for The Word of God that teaches me, reproves me, corrects me, trains me, casts a glaring spotlight on my heart and gets inside of me constantly changing me. I am grateful for love, for harshness because each time harshness tries to destroy me it makes me better, kinder and more patient. I am grateful for not getting what I think I want or need because the life of faith is so much more exciting than having an abundance, or knowing I dont need anything. Dependence on those nail scarred hands is so fulfilling in resting in His love and care for me. I am grateful for all the love in my life and the people who love me warts and all. I know more than anyone how hard I am to love because I have a hard time loving myself. So I am so grateful and amazed at the gift of love and forbearing of others with me. I am grateful for good health because often I dont have it but I am also grateful that when I am weak, The Master is so strong! I am grateful for the music and beauty of others lives lived out before me! Each person brings a touch of The Master into my life! There is so much more I am grateful for like trials, especially the Lord I am sinking trials , because in each one when fear is causing me to go down , I see His extended hand and hear Him say, Follow ME, I AM THE WAY! I am so blessed and just want to say thank you to all of you I could not mention or FB would be jammed to the breaking point! You have all filled my life with the goodness of God and if there is anything good in my life it is because of each of you who have touched me, blessed me, taught me, been patient with me, reproved and corrected me, and loved me in spite of me. Most of all I am so grateful to You Lord Jesus, friend of sinners like me!
