Things I am thankful for, part #1: My loving family and supportive friends. Dogs. I love doggies. All of the animal lovers worldwide. The shelters, the rescue groups, the veterinarians and their assistants. I am thankful for good neighbors, who watch over my house when I am not home. I am thankful for these United States of America, and even in the midst of turmoil, we are bent but not broken. I am thankful to be a child of God. I am thankful for my faith, and for the little church that helped restore it. I am thankful for food, shelter, clean water from a tap. I am thankful for the nay-sayers, for instead of breaking me their negativity made me stronger. I am thankful for past relationships, and the growth that they provided to allow me to be a better man. I am thankful for a new relationship, and the promise of a bright future together.
