Things I like about vacation: The sailboat moving through less than 2 foot waves, isolated islands in the North Channel, climbing granite boulders, running free, riding in the kayak, swimming off the boat and off shore just because, wading in the water to drink, sneaking into the peeps bed after they are asleep, playing with new 4 footed friends, running next to the bike, hiking on trails and off, meeting new people and representing Griffs, soaking up friendly pats and treats, riding in the truck on the way home, filling my nose with new scents every day, fish bones on the beach, Ice Cream! Things I dont like about vacation: Moving through waves on the boat that cause it to slam, the shaking and banging of the rigging on the main sail when there is an unexpected change in the wind, having to hold it when there are delays in getting back to shore, having to use the pee pad on the boat, missing the boat when I jump on because I slip or the boat moves, my life jacket ( ok, I capitulate to wearing it, but come on, I am a griff and an excellent swimmer, mom is a worry wort...... though she did grab it yesterday so I didnt go over the rails of the boat into lake huron), the cold water of Lake huron, come on people it is summer!
