Things Ive noticed now that my scarf has been off for almost a month 1) When I traveled, they didnt do any extra screenings (seriously, this was something I always went through traveling with a scarf on in the past). 2) Now that its colder, my ears and neck get really cold. (Must buy ear muffs) 3) People dont glare as much when Im in an area thats not so Arab-populated (Like Somerset Mall) 4) People seem less afraid to approach me (not always a good thing. Kinda wish some people WOULDNT approach me and talk to me) 5) Some Muslims I know have asked if this means Im going to dress slutty, become slutty, start drinking, stop praying, and overall lose my religion. The answer to that by the way, even though those people dont deserve an answer, is no. I am still me...nothing is changing.
