Things Realistic, attainable and Effective The thread is not wrong, maybe I did not ask your permission, but I thought it is okay and people who are all enlightened will go along since the idea is easily understood. However, guys, national ID card and social security identifier are two different identifiers. Here, if you go back to look at the inception of identifier, especially social security identifier, Franklin Roosevelt introduced this for America in 1932. Little was known about its significance, when cynicism is hanging to send this idea in a bottom less pit like it never existed anywhere. Franklin knew the importance, and those who worked along with him really supported his idea. Today, America is bond faster together more than all nations because of this identifier. Remember, Franklin Roosevelt came to president during two distinct perils: 1) The Great Depression of October 24, 1929; and 2) The World War II of 1945. Because Franklin Roosevelt reordered America using this identifier, the national wealth which was exactly four billion dollars ran an economy which turn out to be the worlds best economy. Farmers were paid for crops grown because government could identified them. Liberia is yet similar to this historical paradigm. We survived a complete civil decadence and our national income is like America after those perils: US $0.6 billions to a population of 3.5 million. What can be done to better the lives of our people and model a healthy economy? I think, and seriously believe is to reorder our country with national identifier, particularly, social security numbering. Certainly, we also know that nation state is on the basis of how all people that share with in a common heritage and history get to live inclusively in a defined territory. With the many stratification and name given, different birth dates, tribes and so forth, we like to fine it cogent and more convincing to use a more simpler factor in reordering our county. This is not running pipe bound train tracks like the Russian did to reorder, even though we need. The most prudent is just numbering that the entire Africa may soon follow suit. In fact as I log in these few lines, a friend of mine is running a petition for the Ghanaian government to provide similar identifier. Another Nigeria friend who we share note with is contemplating same. Our aspiration is for Liberia to be the first. This is not our limit. We are hoping to extend this to the African Union. And because you have better audience, we thought to also have your population involved. Internet records are forever, posterity will remain on our side that we vetted this thought with no cynicism . And because you have elected to sign this petition, a sick mom who has no money and dad has no job, government can chip in and provide minimum insurances for such family to have coverages. The child will be catered for as well. Many moms can not go to see doctor often because there is no money and government has no coverages. A mom can not visit hospital today and beg for treatment and tomorrow, too go and beg. She has no spirit and emotion for that. Child left home critically sick and at the end late help arrives, something else happens. With identifier, she must have minimum government safety net. She needs not beg but visit the hospital and get treated. Children go heathy to school, and mom not worrying any more, she is gone to find work. She gets on payroll and contribute to national income. What about that? Please join us petition government, petition lift our people from the dungeon and abyss of poverty. All things said are realistic, attainable and effective!!!
