Things are changing fast here. Brushes are put aside, likely till December. Bummer to put the breaks on when on a roll but real life needs take over. Will make a few post before I disappear into a fog. The final two lunettes. The church now being largely Vietnamese, the congregation wished to include two native saints. Painting two is the first painting I produced here. It was submitted and installed... only then did the art director decide that she looked too American Indian and rejected the painting. Since, due the installation with contact cement, she could not be removed I was made to produce painting 3 which was then glued atop the original. The last painting was done to very specific instructions. I find it unfortunate, stiff and not at all in the same spirit as the others. But, the customer is right and I am in the service business.
