Things done tonight in Shadow of Mordor: - Getting bored following Gollum. - Getting baffled that Kelly Bimbos identity was apparently supposed to be a huge secret. - Getting annoyed fighting (Not) The Flood and learning a technique that absolutely does not destroy them like the game seems to think it will. - Related to the above, getting amused that they literally rip off every single move Batman gets in an Arkham game. - Getting pissed off at a Sword side quest where you have to kill all the (Not) Orcs in a building, but oh hey right theyll call in about 50+ other guys, some with shields and some with bows. - The video below. That third one basically highlights everything wrong with this turd of a game. Dont give me an objective and then throw a monkey wrench into it immediately. I had to just scale a wall to a place they couldnt get, wait for Alert to go away, then crawl down and Drain one for more Spooky Ghost Arrows to pick off the handful of guys in the massive crowd I still needed to kill. They were all running from one spot to the next down below as a group. No one climbed up. No one shot. They just ran around like Pikmin! The AI is completely nonexistent. If you get up high and shoot arrows, you can kill 99% of the things in this game. The 1% is immune to Ranged attacks. But thats okay, as you can just wait for them to get off Alert and stealth kill them from 60ft up.
