Things dont always work out for the best. Theologically Gods plan includes absolute failure, and that isnt the best, that is by definition the worst. Sometimes things work out for the worst, that is reality. Birds nests fall out of trees, baby dear get hit and killed, theologically people make big enough mistakes they risk not even going to heaven, or any of the three degrees of glory. You cant acknowledge good without simultaneously acknowledging evil. If a thing can work out of the best, a thing can workout for the worst. That is the nature of there being opposition in all things. The only way to help mitigate that is charity, and helping one another, and even then sometimes things dont work out. I post this because I hear/read people say, Things always work out for the best and that is just absolute poppycock. As though saying that absolves us of helping make things work out better. We as a matter of fact often use God as a means of deferring responsibility for the outcomes we and others experience.
