Things most bengalis hear about their appearance: Wow youre beautiful, are you persian or arab? You are good lookin, are you turkish? NO! Im beautiful cause Im bengali. People always think bengalis are dark midgets or somethin. And even if there are people like that, they are still beautiful. Bengali peoples looks vary. The way we look goes across the entire spectrum. Even sometimes I cant tell someone off the bat if they are bengali or not. So no, I dont find it a compliment if you think Im beautiful cause I look persian. Bengalis can be beautiful too. The entire south asia is full of beautiful people, even if its hard for you to believe. Yes, middle eastern people are hella gorgeous, no doubt. But dont think we arent either. This is my theory: If God blessed all south asians with blue/green/hazel eyes, wed be the best lookin people, only because our dark tan skin would pop our eyes out, and were the best of both worlds (black & white) xP In all honesty, Im always anti-nationalism, Im never really proud of being bengali, im more proud being a Muslim... but forreal doe we gots some beautiful people, and we should be recognized to beautiful because of who we really are, not who you think we are.
