Things that make you go awwwwwwww Meet two kids who make us want to stand up and cheer! Jack, the boy pictured on the left, recently attended the adoption event at John Gagnons Pet Resort and excitably handed us a generous donation. Turns out this very special boy asked people to make a donation to help a dog in need, instead of giving him birthday presents. Thanks to Jack, this fabulous Corgi mixed now named Behler has been pulled from Tipton and is on his way to a new life. In a completely different part of the country Sophie, the girl pictured on the right, had a similarly selfless idea. Guests at her birthday party were instructed to give a donation in lieu of a gift. Sophie took that money and went Tipton herself to chose two dogs to sponsor. She instantly fell in love with Max and got to take him on a nice long walk to tell him all about the wonderful life that awaited him in rescue! And then Sophie did the same thing for another dog named Sam.
