Things to think about Is the Islamic world experiencing the Christian dark ages and trying, like the Christians, to impose their ignorant world view on the rest of us? Is the brutality of capitalism exacerbating the spread of the Islamic movement for fundamentalism? What was the real motivation behind the forces of capitalism (we are not spreading democracy) for removing secular, if fairly brutal (their fundamentalist replacements make them look downright humanist) secular governments? How do we stop international business interests from controlling our governments and using our military for their own, limited, interests? Why are we striking ISIL in Syria when, assuming we want Assad gone, when we should be pushing them back into Syria? Given the fact that more toddlers have killed more Americans (through shootings) than terrorists why is the media ramping up the perceived threat?
