Think I made a new personal best QSO distance today :) Was testing some new microphones on my FT-817ND, connected it to my CB vertical antenna. When I looked for å free frequency to test on, I heard a station calling on 10m. decided to try and give him a call, and tio my surprise he answered back on the second try. Station was qrz/db/VP8LP on Falkland Islands Got a 5/3 report, and when I looked closer at the radio it turned out I was only running 2,5 Watts. Distance to VP8LP from my QTH is 8593.0 mi (13829.1 km) Not bad for a little QRP work :)
