Think Lamborghini and the Diablo, Miura and Countach instantly come to mind. But that does the marque a disservice, as this 1966 Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 proves. Okay, it may not be a low-slung supercar like the Miura, a wedge-shaped monster like the Countach or an retina-searing hypercar like the Diablo, but it is a classy piece of kit. And while the three supercars aforementioned may draw the eye, youd surely feel much more comfortable pulling up to a dinner party in this. Its a lot more elegant, delicate and refreshing to the eye. Its quick too – 320bhp from its 4.0-litre V12 means that dinner party trip will be something to savour. In fact, wed turn around just before we got there merely for the pleasure of driving it back again. This ones up for grabs with RM Auctions in February at its Paris auction.
