Think about the worst day of your life. Sad to think many in the world today will experience that... makes me want to be more gracious. Some of our facebook friends are facing terrible trials that we arent even aware of. Many that we pass on the freeway are struggling in very real ways. Those you pass in the store may be in the midst of great sadness... Should make all of us want to be more gracious. Should make us willing to overlook annoyances and inconveniences, especially if you are a Christian and you recognize the grace God gives to you every day. A short-tempered, entitled, annoyed Christian makes for a very poor witness. Keep this in mind when someone cuts in front of you on the freeway, when your facebook friend posts another annoying post, when you are in the checkout line and not happy with how long the person is taking in front of you. Christians should be the most gracious people on the planet because we experience the grace of God abundantly everyday. Let your gentleness be known to all men. Phil. 4:5 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Phil. 2:3-4
