Think about why this happened. Does the cop just hate disabled folks? Or is he acting from past experience? Clearly the majority of wheelchair arrests result in discovery of a faker. The problem here is the preponderance of disadvantaged folks using wheelchairs as convenience or cover (come visit me in Pioneer Square and I will show you countless examples) - the cops have been duped enough times to make them think this is a reasonable move. Basic societal ills and public policy are to blame. What drives people to pretend disability? Theres the real story.
