Think all shelter dogs find great homes? Ever consider breeding your dog just because? Contemplating surrendering your family pet? Dont think for a minute that ANY dog (or cat) at the shelter is safe. Perfectly adoptable, sweet and lovable pets are euthanized every day, even puppies and kittens. Thrown out with the trash, literally. Please dont get a pet if you arent 100% committed to it for the rest of its life. Please dont contribute to pet overpopulation- Spay and Neuter. MANY puppies sold by breeders, professional or not, end up dying on a cold metal table in the back room of a shelter, or worse yet, a gassing chamber (yes, they are still used).
