Up to three workers allowed. 10x10 space allowed unless approved otherwise. Contestants will be judged on a 10 point scale in the following categories: LAGNIAPPE-BEST SIDES- corn, potatoes, sausage, onions, deer steaks, anything EXTRA you put in the boil. PRESENTATION - how clean, easy to peel, temperature. FLAVOR - too hot? too spicy? too salty? or JUST RIGHT? Winner takes home a $500 cash prize. Contestants will be Given no less than 100 pounds of crawfish to cook free of charge. Contestants need to arrive between 8 am and 10am to allow for enough time for prep and set up.
