Think you have it in you to write a chilling horror story to be broadcast on Malaysian radio? A well-known actor and radio personality is looking for stories to read in a 15 minute show going out at midnight. (More details will follow once we have chosen the first few pieces.) This means pieces need to be around 1500-2000 words. Longer pieces will be acceptable if they can be serialized. Tales of ghosts, ghouls, hauntings, vampires, zombies, mad axe murderers are all acceptable - and any other horrors you can dream up. The pieces can be as blood-soaked or as subtle as you like! You might even have a real-life story to draw on. What matters is the storytelling - a sense of suspense is vital, an element of shock desirable. There is no payment but we hope that the joy of hearing your work read on radio will be the compensation. (Pieces may also be podcast later.) This is not a competition and we hope very much it will be an ongoing project, so there is no deadline. (The stories will start to go on air August 2013.)
