Thinking about DOMA and I can confidently state my opinion on this. Very simply it is a glaring defiance of the will of the people of the state of California. Over half of the the people voted on and in support of Prop 8. since when does ANY court over rule the will of the people. The deeper issue that is being swept under the rug is we have a federal government DICTATING instead of supporting what the majority of the people state of California. A. Lincoln set a precedent that we can follow. He wrote "...Supreme Court cannot pass on legal opinion, instead they must support the law." The law was voted on by three Majority.
