Thinking about our Sunday school lesson this morning. A portion of it was about True Friends. I was reminded of a time when my daddy was on his deathbed and I needed someone to drive me to Augusta to see him. I called several people and they all were too busy or had something going on and couldnt take me. I knew it was just a matter of a couple of days before my dad was gone and I desperately wanted to be with him. I called my dear sister Yolanda Yvette Graves Presley a real true friend. She was smack in the middle of moving into her newly built house and had several people helping her but she dropped what was important to her and came and drove me to Augusta anyway leaving all those people to finish moving all her belongings by themselves. THAT people is what a true friend is. They make what is important to you important to them putting you a priority in their life. How many REAL friends do you really have and are you a TRUE friend to others. When people call on you for help do you beg off with a lame excuse or do you put yourself out there for others???? Remember being in service to The Lord is about being REAL and TRUE to the others around you.
