Thinking about our friend Bill again the other day as I drove by the old Fishmarket where I met him,Barb and so many friends over the years.A couple of things came to mind as I thought back,how many solid things about knowing Jesus that Bill and Hainds and John Paul used to share with us and how much encouragement it gave us when hard times came,the foundational truth and grace and love they taught and lived by example. It seems that 2 Thess, 2:15 still rings in my heart because of their lives: So stand firm, and hold on! Be loyal to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or in our writings.
