Thinking back to last night and the most interesting gig Ive done for a while - Barlinnie prison as part of prisoners week (who knew that was a thing?). The band sounded spectacular in a great acoustic, the audience, captive as it was, was great, very appreciative, and we even got a standing ovation. They were whistling along with the Great Escape, and even laughing at my jokes. Add a very nice buffet afterwards and it all adds up to a great evening. Many thanks to the Ywo Glasgow band, and well done to the members who were covering parts other than their own, no-one would have known. Congratulations to all!!!
