Thinking it is time to write a piece about breeding. Not the risks and the health tests, etc but the crap you have to deal with when you have a litter of puppies. The first few weeks are easy and they are cute - then they go mobile. Just thinking of all the things I have said or yelled... How many times in an hour can you pee? You just pooped - I just cleaned it up and there is more? OH GOD NO! Do not slide through the pee!!! Give me the paper towels. Let go of Swiffer. Oh look another puddle. The pitch of your bark. Kitty does not like that. Let kitty go. No blood, youre fine - no do not try and tackle kitty again! More poop... Edible - has nutritional value: eatable - fits in mouth and could result in a vet run (thanks Rose for this). Group of pups, puddle and not fast enough with the paper towels. How many swiffer pads have we used today? PUT THE POOP DOWN AND GET A BETTER TOY!!! Oh shit... Damn you are lucky you are cute. And this is just with three puppies... You have to be empty sometime. No idea how you managed to get out of the kitchen... Put it down, play with this. That was NOT water I just stepped in, was it? Last week you were tired after fifteen minutes of playing. It has been over an hour - why are you not tired? It is too quiet - they escaped again. More poop...
