Thinking of all the Vets who are in my life... My dad, served as a secretary in Germany; Zachary Mullin, the swankiest Marine I know; Scotts dad served in the Air Force; Scotts Grandpa served in WW2, Army; Joshua Billow, wtshtf preper; Steve, aircraft carrier, Navy; and Linwood, gave the ultimate sacrifice from exposure to agent orange in Vietnam. Of course many families dont have the fortune of naming so many people who have served and are still here. Many have lost sons, daughters, wives, husbands, mothers and fathers to protect the most innocent people of the world. Most of the vets I know are humble people who expect no thanks and ask for no recognition. So Thank you for getting paid peanuts to go to what must be hell at bootcamp, get shoved into a job you probably didnt choose, get thrown in front of enemy fire, negotiate with terrorists, and help people I dont know only to get no retirement, no after care, fights from the VA and disability and are the first ones to again take the heat when the government shuts down. The path you choose is not an easy one but a noble one.
