Thinking on Tuesday When we serve God willingly He will place others into our path others whom he desires us to serve. That service may come in different forms and in different ways. Discerning is learning as they say. So the first thing we must do in serving is to listen to our hearts and to those we are to serve. If it is God calling us to do it. That call will be persistent It will not go away. Just as God will never leave us. His call to serve will never leave us as well. Serving the Lord is not a part time gig. It requires much patience and discernment. But it is for life and it is forever just as He has designed it to be. But in doing so our forever will turn into His Eternity and that my friends is a far greater span of time. For that span of time will never end either. Rejoice and serve the Lord always with a willing & open heart and you will do far greater things than just learning you will be doing. And doing it for the Lord. What is God calling you to do. DT Gospel Lk 12:35-38 Jesus said to his disciples: “Gird your loins and light your lamps and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival. Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them. And should he come in the second or third watch and find them prepared in this way,blessed are those servants.”
