Thinking out Aloud.................! Am almost compelled to laugh out loud, each time I read some postings on the political situation in Akwa Ibom State. Whoever knows the body language, and scheming nature of my Governor should be able to see through his maneuvering and tell his possible directions. First, I can say with all certainty that Akpabio has absolutely no intentions of handing over to an Oron person. Look at this scenario for just once. Ntekim is from Okobo , and we all know that the only thing that an Oron msn shares with the Okobo man is the Akpakip Oro , philosophy. Bot have different dialects ss well as separate deities. Abia, comes from Ebughu. And like Okobo, have their different identities. How is it possible for these two people to come out with one council seat to beat anybody from three Oro local Government councils ? Lets go to Eket and Esit Eket with almost five contenders. Ibeno has two candidates, Onna,, two. Ikot Abasi and Mkpat Enin has up to four. The scheme is to get the contenders from Oron to fight each other, destroy themselves, while the local maradona quietly waltz away with his choice. But if truth be told, I am very convinced that Udom will end up a sacrificial lamb, in the hands of Akpabio. Lets ask and answer the following questions. If the governor is honest about Udom, then why does he talk about installing Udom for only one term if four years. Why should the Oronians have to be satisfied with such faulty project ? Fsct is, Akpabio has a last minute jack on his sleeves. For the sake of arguments, what do you Akpabio would be willing to sacrifice for a peaceful and harmony within the party today? If the National secretariat were to ask Akpabio to hands off one of the two things hes pursuing ( Governorship / Senatorial seat ), what do think ? Methink our man will let go governorship over his ambition for senate. Mark my words. Conclusively, I want to say that P. D. P needs Uyo senatorial District . They they need Ibibio And if anything can be done to make peace in the party, Akpabio will sacrifice his young protege for an unsuspected Ibibio candidate from Eket senatorial district ss a compromise candidate. From my distant, but analytical observation, that candidate is the man whose campaign appears slow and quite Benjamin Okoko is that person. You can go to the bank with that, snd your money will be safe. Watch it. Andy K. Andy 11/16 /2014. Houston ,Texas.
