Thinking today of forgiveness needing to happen first before a great out pouring of Gods Spirit on us. God told the Israelites, in Isaiah 43:26 Review your past for me, let us argue the matter together; state the case of your innocence. Sometimes we have excuses for why we sin or break Gods ten commandments. God invites us to talk that over with him. Tell him why you think your are innocent. Gee, that is a caring God who knows we fool ourselves with denial when we do not want to change. But somewhere in a persons live we have to level with God and be real and be man enough or woman enough to say to God, you are right God I have been living in sin and I repent and say I do not want to live a life that is not genuine before you anymore. Help me to face who I really am and then help me to have a desire to change. Help me clean up my life, help me find the strength to desire your will over my own. Please cleanse me, I cant cleanse myself as I should, cleanse me Jesus and seal me with Your Holy Spirit today.
