Third Little Library scheduled for Monday... Funded with a grant from the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas, Little Libraries are free-standing book exchanges in neighborhoods to foster literacy. Each one is custom-built and often resembles a house or business; they easily hold about two dozen donated books; volunteers keep them stocked. CHC/SEK sponsors these three Little Libraries. You have seen pictures from the opening of the first two on this Facebook page. Our next event is Monday, March 24th at 3:30pm, 1707 N. Locust. There will be a ribbon cutting with the Chamber and kids from The Center. Come if you can.
