Third day with this aggrivating injury and Im still feeling really sad. I wish I could go back in time and undue it. The good part of it is that it makes me think of so many things. I cant stop thinking of how proud I am of my mechanic Ken Johnson. He lost his left leg years ago but works just as hard everyday as he did before and never complains. He has truly been an inspiration to me even before I hurt myself, but especially now. Ive never been on crutches before. I had no idea how painful it is. Im appreciating my legs so much right now. Which reminds me of my friend Reggie Showers as well. He is a bilateral amputee. What an awesome human being he is!!! If you are ever blessed enough to meet him, you will see what I mean. So to think of these men who are my Heros, makes this little mishap easier to cope with. I just have to figure a way to stop my heart from hurting so much,..because I wanted to race so bad!! And next month Im taking my daughter to Disney World!! I cant let this mess that up. :) She asks me EVERYDAY, without fail, Mommy, are we going to Disney World today?! Im praying that surgery will NOT be required. We have a lunch date with several Princesses and I have a toddler that wont be denied. :) Take care everyone and be extra careful even with task that you dont think are dangerous. :) God Bless.
