Thirteen years ago today, I was a student at Old Dominion University when I came out of class to learn a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon was on fire. As I watched the second plane hit the second tower and both towers collapse on live TV, I knew in that moment, our nation was at War. Since that day, I have watched the impact this day has had on our nation. I am honored to say that every warrior aspires to conduct missions on this day and I had the honor to engage with the enemy on Afghanistan soil on 9/11 2005. Since that fateful day 13 years ago we have laid almost 90 NSW Teammates to rest who sacrificed for your Freedom as well as over 7,000 additional American warriors. I am honored to be involved in a project about an amazing piece of artwork that honors my warrior brothers and was created to take this day back. If you have three minutes to watch this trailer of the UNTIL It HURTS documentary, it is a great tribute to 9/11 and I promise it will inspire you. Savior your Freedom every day, but especially today. The Freedom you breathe in every day came at a tremendous price. Jay Sends vimeo/103171389
