Thirty Days of Thanks - Day 9.Usually I wait till the end of the day to post this, but I already know what I want to say. I am so thankful to have been apart of something so special today. Meeting the group of homeless, seeing theirs smiles as they received a blanket, a coat, a hat, gloves, toiletries, a razor, or food. Hearing how grateful they were that we came to them and when asked if they needed another item, they declined and said they now had what they needed and there was someone else out there that needed it worse than them. And when they were asked if we could pray together and for them, they received with open hearts and in return prayed thanksgiving for everything they received today. But the prayers that got me the most were the prayers for us! They prayed for God to bless us abundantly with what we needed and what we wanted. Wow, a prayer that came from one who has so little to us who have everything that we need and so much of what we thought we wanted. Thank you Bruce Crozier for arranging this and for each person that was there today! This morning before we left home, I looked around and growled to myself, I have to clean this house again when we get back! Right now I am looking around and saying, Thank You Lord for this house that I get to clean today!!!!!
