Thirty Days of Thanksgiving 4. One of my greatest blessings that just gets better with age is my incredible husband, Tim. We were 19 when we met and I never looked at anyone else. (Well, I stayed with my then current beau for a few more months, but knew my heart was no longer his.) We had an on again, off again relationship, but after graduating college, getting military obligations out of the way, and securing a career, we both knew the Lord meant for the two of us to be together, and married 41 years ago. He has worked so hard to provide for our family. Youll not find a better daddy anywhere. He is so proud of his kids. And the grandkids....Oh my goodness! He thinks each of the nine is just the greatest kid ever. (Well, they ARE, but thats beside the point.) One thing I so appreciate about him lately is the tender way she helps with my mother. It hurts him as much as it hurts her own children, to see her in such a dire situation as she is in right now. He is as attentive to her as he was to his own dear mother in her last months five years ago. He has such a sense of right or wrong and will do what he feels is right, even if it costs him dearly. I love you to the moon and back, Timothy Paul Perkins!!!
