Thirty Three years ago I took a class affectionately called PFAL. It was a 33 hour presentation on the Bible that helped set me on a life altering, life giving path that continues to this day. As Ive reflected back to that class, the greatest value of PFAL was that it taught me how to systematically read and study and, accurately understand whats written in scripture - something Ive still not found anywhere in the institutional Christian church. Fast forward to early 2013: TLTF, a ministry I have respect for, made available a 24 hour presentation of the Bible called One Day With The Creator (ODWTC) of which I acquired. After curiously going through the first two segments, I was hooked. Things stirred in me on a level that doesnt happen often. Finished the whole thing in two and a half days and then, LOL!....on a little slower pace, I sat through and reviewed it again. I guess Id say this: If you consider yourself a rational thinking person not given to the many illogical, incomprehensible (man made) teachings of Judeo/Christian tradition and youre genuinely curious of God, spiritual matters and His son Jesus Christ, Im certain youd find ODWTC a breath of fresh air - especially if, often enough, you feel like youre gasping for air. ;) This is segment 14.....
