Thirty-two years ago today – Saturday, December 18, 1982 – at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY, Jacqueline Kay Miller became Mrs. James Fisk Gentry, Jr. I am most fortunate to be married to this woman – a wonderfully extraordinary wife who is my best friend, mother of two wonderful children, mother-in-law of my favorite and only son-in-law, grandmother to our first grandchild, lover of our dog and granddog, partner in ministry, and outstanding encourager. Over the course of these years she has nurtured my soul and held me accountable. This past year she has especially nurtured my spirit during many moments of darkness. Her constantly reassuring presence has enabled me to witness the Light even in the darkness. Jackie has been and is the Presence of Christ to me.
