This 11 signs of Malaysians article is overly exclusive, Banana - TopicsExpress

This 11 signs of Malaysians article is overly exclusive, Banana centric , Klang Valley and Urban based, grossly omitted the attributes non Bananas, Non KLnite, and Suburban or Rural Malaysian. One like myself. I am, therefore, offended, to have not shared so many of these so called signs of being born and raised in Malaysia. I barely spoke English until I was 18. And rural folks dont use our magic hand to stop cars. We simply walk as if we own the road, at our own leisure. Only KL people use their magic hand to stop cars, because they dont trust their magic walk enough. Come on folks. Magic hand? Kacau la U KL guys. And by the way We dont plan our meals during meals. We simply cant plan any meal at all. For true Malaysians, planning for meals is like asking you to choose a different wedding ring everyday. It is torturous and painful. A true Malaysian never plans his or her next meal. A true Malaysian simply feel the direction of where the next meal is, and magically dragged the car there. Walk to food? No way. Car. Only car. 10 metre also car. Thats Malaysian. And are you nuts? Travelling 2 hours for Asam laksa? This is just a symptom of KL spoilt brats and Tais Tais! Where got such luxury to travel far for food? If you ever did that, well done, it simply means that you have successfully joined the elite too much time too much money group that exist not only in Malausia, but the whole wide world. Come on la, people from UK would fly all the way to find good food. Dont siasui us pls? And that korean Indonesia whatever Soap drama thing. Hello. Everyone in this world do that OK???? An Australian chinese would have watched taiwanese soap, American series, korean sap Or a US Korean would have watched the korean soap, etc. A hongkonger would watch taiwanese sap korean soap etc. And NO chinese in Malaysia watches Indonesian soap. I dont know what is the uniqueness of this soap TV series thingy that it is exclusively Malaysian? Singaporean food VS Malaysia food? Another symptom of elitist group too rich to be a true Malaysian. HELLO there, if you are Penangnite, you will only state that Penang food is great, Kl food is horrible. Or if you are KLnite, you think that every food that has a place name after its stall is good. Penangnite comes to KL, visit their restaurants, and vowed to dapao enough food from Penang next time if they have to make any future trips to KL. Similiarly, the Kelantanese Malays will go up and down left and right to find their laksam la, Nasi padang, lekor, in KL. They found them in KL but its always worst than hometown. Singapore? Hello many of us dont have the luxury to go down to singapore like you to compare with their food laaaaa The Malaysians would call waitress or waiter boss bit, is a downright exclusion of every non KL, Urban (Johor Bahru maybe?) as Malaysian. In Penang or Kedah , do you know how to call the waiter? You yell KOPIIIIIIII And the waiter will say KOPI LAI, as he walks towards you, and then take your order. If you are Malay from Kedah, they call the Mamak waiter as Ane (which is why some malay kids in neighbourhood always call indian kids as Anene. No such thing as boss hello. No such thing at all. matadornetwork/abroad/11-signs-born-raised-malaysia/
