This 2nd cup of coffee is even better than the first this morning. Glad to be home after almost two weeks. Marion and I celebrated our daughter’s birthday with family from Ohio over Labor Day. We said goodbye to brother J.T. with a beautiful and touching funeral service and impressive military burial at Mill’s Spring National Cemetery. We enjoyed a wonderful cookout on Saturday with cousins and friends at the Leotis Whitaker home at Goodwater. To end our journey we attended the Hash Family Reunion at Shopville Park with great family, food and fellowship. I’ll rest this morning, mow the yard as soon as it dries and get ready to enjoy Senior Day at the Fair tomorrow.
