This 500 year old carved stone Nigerian Bura tribe grave marker was unearthed during the 1980′s during an archaeological dig along with other similarly shaped artifacts. It was later realized they were all grave markers- they had excavated an ancient burial ground. The ancient ruins were first discovered in 1975. The Bura civilization is mysterious as very little is known about them. Based upon the paranormal experiences I have had with this object, I conclude they were highly spiritual and intelligent. I also sense strongly that their existence ended in catastrophe. The story of this tribe needs to be unlocked and told. Tragically, sacred human remains and artifacts from the African dig were removed and scattered far from their proper place. Each marker was hand-carved for the individual it represented. This particular grave marker is believed to depict a young female. As time passes, enchanted artifacts become better & better conductors of metaphysical energy and the spirits who use them evolve as well. In the case of this item, 500 years has passed making it an incredibly efficient conduit. The accompanying spirit is highly evolved and active. Classifying this artifact proved to be a challenge. The behavior displayed by it is testament to why it is crucial to spend adequate time with each and every item in a collection. I originally categorized it as a White energy conductor. Most often, the experiences with it are positive. Occasionally, however, its actions are strongly suggestive of Darkness and negativity. Determining if the “mood changes” are a pattern or randomness would be a step in the right direction to unlock its secrets. This alone is an excellent incentive to collect this wonderful item.
