This 7 year old girl was posted on fb that she was missing in Covington. So I got involved to see if she checked the Covington Pound. I contacted Ellen Weedman and she found out that there was a collie in the pound and we got Maggie Hein the right numbers and she went down and rescued their girl and brought her home. Rescue is not just about re homing but also getting these babies to their owners if we can and make sure they are good. Recently we had another rescue dog that we rescued started being vetted and then the owners saw her and we found that indeed it was their dog. We worked things out and they are reunited. So its just a treasure to help.owners also find their dogs too! So glad for this beautiful girl to be home. So folks look on the fb pages and reach out to others even if you cant foster or adopt. Just maybe you can help an owner find their fur babies!
