This 84 SG has been my main guitar for probably 10 or so years... the neck is awesome, the Danelectro pickup sounds massive (very Hot Snakes) and the Bigsby is great. But Ive never been 100% sold on the pinstriping. I got it done as a friend of mine was one the best pinstripers in Perth and I thought itd be fun. But Im not a hot rod or rat rod or rockabilly dude. For ages Ive been thinking of dropping the guitar off to Matts Guitar Service and getting it redone in nitro cherry red (and maybe get him to add the missing SG bevels that Gibson left off). Should I leave as is or refurbish?
