This Dog Was Covered in Tar and Couldnt Move, Until These Guys Came Along Heres one rescue story that will warm your heart and make you smile. Animal Aid Unlimited, a rescue centre for stray animals, posted a video about a stray dog that had fallen into a tar pit and was covered from nose to tail in nearly solid tar. The dog, they explain in the video, was found struggling and could barely move. The rescue foundation painstakingly massaged vegetable oil into the dogs coat to remove the solidified tar. It took them three hours over two days to accomplish the task. The after footage of the near-paralyzed mutt is nothing short of miraculous. The video posted on YouTube has received a lot of praise and has been viewed over 5.6 million times already. Watch the video to see how this doggie went from pitiful to perky:
