This EQ was scary to Pacific north-westerners concerned about another Cascadia... It is close to the triple junction point where the next Cascadia subduction event is expected to start. It relieves some tension in that area, which is great news, but its still about 100-1000 times smaller than another Cascadia. It could be a pre-EQ to the next Cascadia.
