This Earthship Project is under way in PEI (Prince Edward Island), Canada, but they need your support to make it happen. See link at the bottom of this quote for video and more info. From Eliza Knockwood: Mother EARTHSHIP Project Epekwitk First Nation Help us attain our goal of creating recycled off the grid building, cleaning up our community while empowering ourselves. We are asking the support of YOU, the wonderful change makers in our lives that are willing to put a little (or a lot) of support into an inspiring idea to make the first family dwelling Earthship on First Nations territory. It serves firstly as a sustainable, Mother Earth Friendly recycled building for a family and secondly serves as an example of the amazing things we can do when we come together to empower one another. We will use all donations for: * tools & equipment rental * volunteer hospitality (meals & supplies) * large items such as water storage, batteries, solar panels, windows, concrete/ hempcrete *workshop honorariums for facilitators to teach relevant Earthship skills and techniques MOTHER EARTH WILL PROVIDE EVERYTHING WE NEED TO SURVIVE - Elder Thunder Child Marie Knockwood, Mikmaq Nation It takes a community to raise a child….it also takes a community to BUILD AN EARTHSHIP… Starchild Eliza Knockwood https://kickstarter/projects/1550661643/mother-earthship-project-epekwitk-first-nation
