This Extraordinarily powerful speech from Jim Carrey in a funny hat is one of my favorites. After Jims explaining that his father was made redundant from the safe accounting job that he took instead of being the comic he wanted to be, Jim says I learned many great lessons from my father, not the least of which was that you can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.
