This FD season has been pretty challenging for our team. First was the issue of building two ground breaking and radical cars in a short timeframe, then we were plagued by critical parts failures and developmental issues which resulted in poor showings from Long Beach to Miami. Finally there were the issues of engine tuning and chassis setup on very powerful cars when our prior experience has always been trying to get the most from underpowered cars. This created a perfect storm of bad stuff which can give even an excellent experienced team like ours issues. We turned the corner at New Jersey and now all the hard work from my team mates at Falken and SPD is starting to come into place. It is so hard to develop stuff in the first leg of the FD season because we only have the cars for a few days between rounds so our progress has been incremental. We are now getting pretty competitive and will continue to improve, especially the BRZ. I am looking forward to our next two rounds.
