This Facebook thing and the nature of friends. I just had to block someone who I was friended with, someone from my high school days, a person about whom, frankly, I had zero recollection when he friended me a couple of years ago. I did not know this person in high school. Anyhow, he sent me a message accusing me of, back then, making his life a living hell, of bullying him, of calling him homophobic names, etc. Anyone who remembers me from back then will recall I was hardly a bully to ANYONE. Sure, I may have been haughty and aloof, and a bit of a pompous intellectual elitist (among other teenager pathologies), but I hated bullies and it truly wasnt my nature to pick on weak kids or those who were different. There have been quite a few classmates Ive friended, or you friended me, who I didnt know back in the day, but Ive become quite fond of in the now (Like George Chester Hammond--damn I wish wed been friends in HS!). This person, however, offended me by accusing me of being a type of person that would have made me vomit had I ever, even once, acted in that disgusting manner--then or now. It just wasnt me, it ISNT me.
