This Fall Im directing A Room In Cairo an action short about the deadly and complicated game of intelligence gathering. The Dialogue in A Room In Cairo is almost entirely spoken in Egyptian Arabic. To make sure we get this correct were lucky to have Madiha teach our actors. Not only is she helping with language but Madiha is a invaluable asset in advising on the film to really make A Room In Cairo authentic. As their Director its really humbling to see these two actors throw themselves so wholeheartedly into their roles. Not only are they worried about saying the words right but they also want to know the deeper meaning behind the structure of the language, the subtle workings of the dialect & cultural norms to properly portray these two characters who find themselves in A Room In Cairo. Here is just a brief sample of how hard Jamie & Jose are working to get this right. https://youtube/watch?v=o9uoFE_16g8
