This Friday November 21st by 5pm is the last day for students to withdraw from classes with a WP(withdrawal pass) or WF(withdrawal fail). The professor will give a “WP” if the student was passing when they last attended, or a “WF” if they weren’t. The latter option adversely affects their GPA (just like a regular “F”). We suggest that if your student wants to withdraw because they know they are doing poorly, but also know that they would get a “WF,” they should consider staying in the class and taking the final. At least that way, they may be able to raise their grade enough to pass. Please remember to initiate all withdrawal requests in person at OneStop or via Pepperdine email!
